Model: HammerHead® Pullers

HammerHead^® pullers have been designed from the ground up for horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Our pullers are constructed of high quality alloy steels and properly sealed to help prevent contamination of the pipe being pulled in. HammerHead offers three types of pullers ranging from 0.5" (13 mm) to 12" (315 mm) in size to meet your pullback needs.

Sleeved expanding taper pullers
A protective sleeve reduces the possibility of contamination by clamping the pipe between the jaws of the puller and outer sleeve, while protecting the leading edge of the pipe being installed. The advanced taper lock design prevents the puller from being accidentally screwed apart during installation or removal of the puller from the pipe.

Un-sleeved expanding taper pullers
Expanding taper pullers offer a sealed environment for pulling multiple types of product. A strong connection, via a fixed pulling eye, and reliable performance are characteristics of HammerHead expanding taper pullers. In addition, HammerHead offers additional o-rings to ensure a proper pipe seal and sleeves to protect leading edge of pipe.

Carrot Pullers
HammerHead patented carrot pullers have been designed with a thread for easy, fast and reliable installation. Extra thread reliefs have been added to the thread profile in order for the wall of the pipe to be cut smoothly and precisely, ensuring superior connection. The eyes of each puller have been designed for durable usage and simple connections for multi-duct applications and multiple bell joint applications.
