The new HydroGuide HG12 winch has an industry first self-deploying downrigger. The new HG12 puts advanced design to practical use: no more heavy lifting or positioning of cumbersome pieces in constricted manholes - the boom is conveniently raised and lowered by hydraulics and extends to the required length. Support legs are dropped into place and adjusted.

The HG12 is designed to maximize efficiency and minimize setup time and effort. Setup and teardown can be done in minutes, not hours. The bottom line is less labor and potentially more profit. The solid, dual capstan design offers constant pulling force over the entire cable length and helps reduce cable wear. Remote control and a powerful downhole light put the operator in better control of the burst process. The HydroGuide HG20's compact design and increased maneuverability simplifies transport and allows setup in tight areas. With 40,000 lbs (18,144 kg) of pull, the HG20 has the power to handle longer and larger bursting jobs.
